These terms govern the use of Syntax Palette (“the service”), an add-on for Google Docs™ and Google Slides™. By installing or using the service you agree to these terms.
1. What the service does
The service applies syntax highlighting — text colour, font and background — to source code entered in Google Docs™ and Google Slides™.
2. Price
The service is provided free of charge. There is no subscription fee and no payment of any kind.
3. Your responsibilities
- You must use the service in a manner consistent with applicable law and with the Google Workspace Marketplace terms.
- The service modifies the formatting of your document. Changes can be reverted with Undo (Ctrl+Z), but keeping a copy before applying it to an important document is recommended.
- You must not reverse-engineer the service, nor copy or redistribute it without permission.
4. Disclaimer
The service is provided as is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or freedom from defects.
The developer is not liable for any direct or indirect damage arising from use of, or inability to use, the service — including but not limited to damaged document formatting, data loss or interruption of work.
5. Changes to and discontinuation of the service
The developer may change the features of the service or discontinue it without prior notice. Formatting already applied to your documents remains unchanged if the service is discontinued.
6. Privacy
The handling of personal information is governed by the separate Privacy Policy.
7. Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the revised version will be posted on this page and the last-updated date will be revised. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
